Posted Date: 21/03/2026 South Korea Visa Service PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR A SOUTH KOREA TOURIST VISA IN DA NANG I. TERMS OF AGREEMENT Our company would like to send you the guide for preparing documents for a South Korea tourist visa application. Please read the following carefully to coordinate in preparing complete documents that meet all requirements. The company is responsible for consulting and guiding you to prepare the most suitable document set before submission to the Consulate/Embassy. However, personal documents must be prepared by the applicant in accordance with the company’s instructions. All documents must be photocopied and notarized on A4 paper without trimming. If the application is refused due to incorrect paper size, the company will not be responsible. In addition to notarized copies, applicants must provide the originals of the following documents: savings account book and passport. The Consulate will keep the original passport during the visa review period and return it once the result is available. The visa result is entirely decided by the Consulate. If the visa is not approved, the fee will not be refunded. II. VISA APPLICATION DOCUMENTS 1. Personal documents applicable to all applicants Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the end date of the trip (submit with notarized copy and original). Visa application information form according to the company’s template. 02 ID photos sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background, full facial features visible, no glasses. Residence information confirmation letter Form CT07. It must show: duration of residence at the current address; specific information of family members in section 7 and section 8. Note for applicants under category C39/1: CT07 must fully show section 7, section 8, and the period of permanent residence registration up to the date of confirmation must be more than 1 year. Citizen ID card or identity card. Marriage certificate if the accompanying person is a spouse, or if one/both spouses jointly own the house/land certificate (02 notarized copies). Additional notes: Include original old passports if any. If CT07 does not fully meet the requirements, supplement one of the following documents: notarized photocopy of the household registration book; or CT08 showing the full address and all members in the same household; or screenshot of the VNeID app showing full information of members in the same household according to the required format. 2. Documents by applicant group A. Private business owners Employment/business proof Business registration certificate (02 notarized copies). Tax payment confirmation for the most recent 3 months or by quarter. Must bear the hanging company seal. If husband and wife jointly operate one company, an additional confirmation of joint business operation signed and sealed by the company is required. Financial proof Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month by the date of direct submission to the Consulate (02 notarized copies + original). Savings balance confirmation signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 14 days from the print date. Bank account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Note: All transferred savings books must be completed at least 1 month in advance. Documents such as salary statements and balance confirmations must be sent to the company within 5 days after staff notify the visa appointment date. B. Company employees paid via bank account Employment proof Labor contract (02 notarized copies). Employee confirmation letter signed and sealed by the company. Financial proof Confirmation of actual salary received in the most recent 3 months; the salary must match the salary account statement. Salary account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month (if salary is low or additional proof is needed to strengthen the application). Savings balance confirmation signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 14 days from the print date (if salary is low or additional proof is needed). VssID (mandatory). House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Note: All transferred savings books must be completed at least 1 month in advance. Financial documents must be sent to the company within 5 days from the appointment notice. C. Company employees paid in cash Employment proof Labor contract (02 notarized copies). Employee confirmation letter signed and sealed by the company. Financial proof Confirmation of actual salary received in the most recent 3 months; the salary must be consistent with the salary proof. Bank account statement for the most recent 3 months showing transaction history, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month (02 notarized copies + original). Savings balance confirmation, valid for 14 days from the print date. VssID (mandatory). House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Note: All transferred savings books must be completed at least 1 month in advance. Financial documents must be sent to the company within 5 days after the appointment schedule is announced. D. Government officials and civil servants Employment proof Appointment decision (02 notarized copies). Salary grade promotion decision (02 notarized copies). Employment confirmation letter signed and sealed by the agency. Financial proof Confirmation of actual salary received in the most recent 3 months. Salary account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Social insurance book (02 notarized copies) or confirmation of social insurance contribution (mandatory). E. Medical doctors Employment proof Practice certificate (02 notarized copies). Labor contract or appointment decision (02 notarized copies). Salary grade promotion decision (02 notarized copies). Employment confirmation letter signed and sealed by the hospital. Financial proof Confirmation of actual salary received in the most recent 3 months. Salary account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Social insurance (mandatory), car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Note: Doctors are exempt from financial proof by savings account only when providing complete documents proving professional identity, especially the practice certificate. If the practice certificate cannot be provided, it is mandatory to supplement a savings account and savings balance confirmation. F. Retired applicants Identity/employment status proof Retirement decision (02 notarized copies). Retirement card (02 notarized copies). Retirement confirmation letter. Financial proof Pension account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. Social insurance book (02 notarized copies, mandatory). If the pension is under 10 million VND/month, the following must be added: 4. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month. 5. Savings balance confirmation, valid for 14 days from the print date. G. Homemakers Identity/occupation proof Ward authority confirmation letter according to the company’s template. Financial proof Bank account statement for the most recent 3 months showing transactions, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month. Savings balance confirmation, valid for 14 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. The application must include documents proving the job, finances, and relationship of the sponsoring relative such as parents or spouse. H. Freelancers, online business owners Employment proof Ward authority confirmation of current occupation according to the company’s template. If running a home-based business, confirmation of home business from the ward authority together with the address and photos of the applicant in front of the shop/business location is required. Financial proof Bank account statement for the most recent 3 months showing transactions related to online work, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month. Savings balance confirmation, valid for 14 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. I. Pupils and students Study status proof Pupil/student card (02 notarized copies). Certificate of enrollment from the school, signed and sealed by the school. Bank account statement for the most recent 3 months, signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Documents of the father or mother Labor contract (02 notarized copies). Employee confirmation letter signed and sealed by the company. VssID if available. Documents proving relationship with parents 4. Marriage certificate of the parents (02 notarized copies). 5. Birth certificate (02 notarized copies). Note: If a child under 18 is not traveling with the parents, there must be a parental consent letter for travel, signed and certified by the ward authority. Financial proof of the parents Salary confirmation for the most recent 3 months signed and stamped by the company. Salary account statement for the most recent 3 months signed and stamped by the bank, valid for 10 days from the print date. Savings account of at least 5,000 USD, term of at least 3 months and already maintained for at least 1 month. Savings balance confirmation, valid for 14 days from the print date. House/land ownership book, car registration (02 notarized copies) if any. III. SOME IMPORTANT NOTES If family members are traveling together in the same group such as parents, children, or siblings, then in addition to relationship documents such as birth certificates or marriage certificates, each person’s application must also include the employment and financial documents of the accompanying traveler. Example: If a mother-in-law travels with her daughter and son-in-law, the following must be added: the daughter’s birth certificate; the daughter’s marriage certificate; the son-in-law’s employment and financial documents. Children traveling with their parents may use the father’s or mother’s financial proof. The parent’s savings account must meet the amount of: (1 + number of children) x 5,000 USD For homemakers, freelancers, or online business owners: if the savings account does not meet the Consulate’s requirements; or if there is no bank statement showing transactions; then the application must include additional identity, financial, and relationship documents of the spouse or parents. Currently in Da Nang there is no travel company eligible to submit applications under the Incentive category, therefore visa applications will be submitted under the regular tourism category. The maximum stay when applying for a single visa through a travel company is 30 days.
